About Home Nickel Pro
Every home needs repairs, and the bill for even a small one can sting. We help people decide when to do it themselves, when to hire, and how to spend less either way, without taking risks they shouldn't.
What we do
We publish home repair money guides, a DIY-or-hire calculator, a job-by-job guide, the Repair Ready checklist and a free printable Repair Cost Planner. We send The Toolbox Note to people who sign up for it, and we're preparing Nickel Pro Repair Videos, a paid library of careful repair videos.
What we don't do
- We aren't a contractor, and we don't send anyone to your home.
- We don't sell leads to contractors, take referral fees or earn commission on tools and materials.
- We don't encourage DIY on gas, electrical panels, structure or roofs. Those are jobs for licensed pros.
- We never sell or share your email address.
